The saying goes ''It was all good just a week ago'', and no words could be truer for New England Patriots WR Tiquan Underwood.

Last week, the 24 year old was celebrating his upcoming trip to Indianapolis with the team by getting the team's logo shaved into the back of his high top fade.

He made the trip to Indy and enjoyed a week of excitement and anticipation leading up to the big game.

Then came Saturday, the day before the big day.

The team released Underwood and promoted defensive lineman Alex Silvestro off the practice squad. The move was not discipline-based, but a pure football decision based on needs specific to the Super Bowl XLVI game plan, according to a source.

With such crushing news, one could expect Underwood to hit up a social media outlet and really rip into his former team right??

Quite the opposite happened.

A half-hour after the devastating news Underwood did make a couple statements on Twitter, but they were far from being filled with anger.

Being a class act isn't new for Underwood. After his senior season at Rutgers University, Underwood was the recipient of the Loyal Knight Award. He earned this award by distinguishing "himself by sacrificing personal goals for the team," and because his "character and dedication...proved resilient in his pursuit of excellence," according to the Scarlet Knights' website.

With Underwood out, wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, who played one snap vs. the Broncos in the divisional round and was inactive in the AFC Championship Game, will likely be active for Super Bowl XLVI, a source told ESPN's Ed Werder. Ochocinco had a career-low 15 catches in his first season with the Patriots and was inactive for the AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens two weeks ago.
