Deep Seated Enterprises, LLC. is a multimedia sole proprietorship company owned and operated by Vannie Kerr, Jr. Deep Seated Enterprises is one part music business and production, one part printing and web design. We're also involved in special events, event planning, CD/DVD authoring and on occassion we have also functioned as a talent scout, recruiting models of amatuer and professional pedigree for several New York City based magazines (Most recently, "Corner Store" magazine.) and their photo shoots throughout the United States of America. Eventually, we'll also be involved in photography, film production and video editing. All of these areas of media with the exception of photography, film production and video editing are areas in which the owner, Vannie Kerr, Jr, has vast knowledge of and is experienced in. Vannie has attended New York's own Institute of Audio Research, located in the heart of Greenwich Village, graduating in 1998 with a certification in Audio Recording & Production. During this period he became a member of "5 Boros Deep". A group comprised of disc jockeys, music producers, party promoters rappers and singers, who live throughout the New York City region. Upon graduating he then went on to attend the Technical Career Institutes College of Technology, located in mid-town Manhattan. Where he graduated with a Associate Degree in Applied Science, majoring in Digital Media Arts Technology. Vannie has worked 10 years in the printing industry, as an offset single color pressman and binder. His knowledge of printing enabled him to graduate at the top of his class majoring in Digital Media Arts Technology. Long before his pursuit of academic achievement in the field of multimedia, Vannie has always expressed himself creatively one way or another. As a youngster he taught himself how to draw and became artistically involved in a number of projects throughout his tenure as a student in grade school. As his passion to express himself grew, he sought new ways and means to express himself. Subsequently, through Hip Hop, he became a graffiti artist, a break-dancer, a disc jockey and a rapper. Although actively involved in all 4 elements of Hip Hop, his preference was rapping. At the time his biggest influence was a rapper named LL Cool J. Who he patterned his rhyme style after. Vannie has dabbled in many rhyme battles, rap shows and contests, some of which included such acts as Jay Z, Glamorous (of the Juice Crew), Biz Markie (of the Juice Crew), Craig G (of the Juice Crew) and Grandmaster Vic & The Boss Crew. But, he never took it seriously, the way some of his friends did. Most of whom went on to become some of the biggest names in Rap music at the time. Onyx, O.C. and Spigg Nice (of the Lost Boyz) are just to name a few. Seeing their success only sparked Vannie's enthusiasm, wondering what might've been had he took it as seriously as they did. So he began to educate himself on the subject of music business and business itself, validating his knowledge on both subjects with the certification he obtained at the Institute of Audio Research. Futhermore, in a effort to promote and distribute his own music and the artists on his label, he sought knowledge in the field of Digital Media Arts Technology, where he obtained a Associate Degree. This brings us to today where he's currently forming a Limited Liability Corporation. He's also networking and recruiting all sorts of individuals from all sorts of media backgrounds in a effort to become one of the biggest multimedia conglomerates in the world that started from the ground up.
